3-H. AMENDMENT TO UNITED STORM WATER INC. AGREEMENT 2309-A, AND AWARD OF\nCONTRACT FOR CATCH BASIN MAINTENANCE\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Authorizing the City Manager to execute the First Amendment, in a form approved by the\nCity Attorney, to Agreement No. 2309-A with United Storm Water, Inc., to retrofit an\nadditional 100 catch basins with Connector Pipe Screens in the amount of $90,000\nincluding labor and 15% contingency;\n(2) Authorize the City Manager to execute a three-year Maintenance Agreement with an\noption to extend for an additional two one-year terms, in a form approved by the City\nAttorney, with United Storm Water, Inc, in an amount of $60,000 per year with annual CPI\nincreases, for the maintenance of all City-owned catch basins and retrofitted County\nowned catch basins with Connector Pipe Screen (CPS) Units.\n(3) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.\nCEQA (California Environmental Quality Act):\nSince the proposed work is a minor alteration to an existing public facility, this project is Class\n1 Categorically Exempt pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).\n[4.] PUBLIC HEARING – None.\n[5.] NEW BUSINESS
