9I. AWARD A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AGREEMENT TO YUNEX LLC FOR TRAFFIC\nSIGNAL AND STREET LIGHT MAINTENANCE SERVICES\nAs the current contract is set to expire on June 30, 2023, City staff released a Request\nfor Proposal (RFP) soliciting proposals to provide traffic signal and street light\nmaintenance services citywide. Staff recommends awarding a contract to Yunex LLC.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council declare this project to be categorically exempt under the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act, Class 1, Section 15301(c); and\n2. Award a professional service agreement to Yunex LLC to provide traffic signal and\nstreet light maintenance services for three years in the amount not-to-exceed\n$345,000 or $115,000 annually; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to bind the City of Stanton and Yunex LLC in a contract\nto provide the services.\nJune 13, 2023
