9J. RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE LIST OF PROJECTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023-24\nTO BE FUNDED BY SENATE BILL (SB) 1\nThe proposed resolution approves a list of projects to be funded by SB 1, The Road\nRepair and Accountability Act of 2017, for Fiscal Year 2023-24.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council declare that the project is exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act (“CEQA”) under Section 15378(b)(5) of the State CEQA Guidelines\nbecause CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential for causing a\nsignificant effect on the environment. Where it can be seen with certainty that there\nis no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the\nenvironment, the activity is not subject to CEQA; and\n2. Adopt Resolution No. 2023-15, entitled:\n“RESOLUTION ADOPTING A LIST OF PROJECTS FOR THE CITY OF\nSTANTON FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 FUNDED BY SB 1: THE ROAD\nREPAIR AND ACCOUNTABILITY ACT OF 2017”.
