h) REPORT APPROVAL OF A REQUEST TO ESTABLISH A CLASS\n23-0341 SPECIFICATION FOR RECREATION SPECIALIST, ESTABLISH THE\nPOSITION IN THE GENERAL AND SUPERVISORY EMPLOYEES’\nBARGAINING UNIT, CALIFORNIA TEAMSTERS LOCAL 911, AND\nESTABLISH A SALARY RANGE\n(Human Resources Manager Vanessa Godinez)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Approve the establishment of a class specification for Recreation Specialist;\n2. Approve the establishment of the position in the General and Supervisory Employees\nBargaining Unit, Teamsters 911; and\n3. Approve the establishment of the five-step salary range for this position as $3,359 to\n$4,083 per month as proposed in the FY 2023-24 budget.
