p) REPORT PARTICIPATION IN BEACH CITIES TRANSIT (BCT) LINE 109\n23-0355 AGREEMENT, WITH NO REQUIRED FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION\nFROM THE CITY FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024, WITH THE CITIES\nOF EL SEGUNDO, MANHATTAN BEACH AND REDONDO BEACH,\nFUNDED FROM PROPOSITION A FUNDS\n(Community Development Director Carrie Tai)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Approve participation in the Beach Cities Transit (BCT) Line 109 along with the other\nbeach cities, with no required financial contribution from the City for Fiscal Year\n2023-2024; and\n2. Authorize the Mayor to sign and the City Clerk to attest to the Transit Service\nOperation Agreement subject to approval by the City Attorney (Attachment 1).
