FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 ANNUAL LEVY OF ASSESSMENTS FOR SPECIAL\nDISTRICTS - This procedural matter is required by state law and orders, approves, and\nsets the public hearing for the annual levy of the Landscape and Lighting District,\nDrainage Benefit Assessment Areas, Golden Valley Ranch Open Space Maintenance\nDistrict, and the Tourism Marketing District.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council:\n1. Adopt resolutions declaring the City's intention to levy assessments, preliminarily\napprove Engineer's Reports in connection with the Special Districts for Fiscal Year\n2023-24, and set a public hearing for June 27, 2023.\n2. Adopt the annual report for the Tourism Marketing District, adopt a resolution of\nintent to continue a business improvement area in the City of Santa Clarita designated\nas the Tourism Marketing District, and set a public hearing for June 27, 2023.
