CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 23-59,\nAPPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 12 TO AGREEMENT SUBAWARD\nNUMBER ENP202110 WITH THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES FOR\nTHE ELDERLY NUTRITION PROGRAM SERVICES\nOn June 23, 2020, a one-year agreement between the County of Los\nAngeles through its Department of Workforce Development, Aging and\nCommunity Services (the “County”) and the City of South El Monte (the\n“City”) was entered into to assist with the funding for the City’s Elderly\nNutrition Program Services (the “Agreement”). The agreement has since\nbeen amended and will expire on June 30, 2023. This Amendment No. 12\nwill extend the term of the Agreement through June 30, 2024 to provide\nbaseline funding for the Elderly Nutrition Programs during Fiscal Year (FY)\n2023-2024. Staff is requesting for City Council to authorize the City\nManager to approve Amendment No. 12 to the Agreement to continue\nproviding nutrition services for seniors.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 23-59, approving Amendment No. 12 to extend\nexisting agreement Subaward Number ENP202110 with the County of\nLos Angeles; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute agreement.
