2.3 RESOLUTION ADOPTING A WRITTEN REPORT REGARDING DEPARTMENT OF WATER\nAND POWER WATER STANDBY CHARGES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 AND DIRECTING\nTHAT SUCH CHARGES BE COLLECTED ON THE TAX ROLL\nCity Council will conduct a public hearing to receive comments regarding the placement of water standby\nfees on the FY 2023-24 tax roll, and will consider a formal resolution authorizing the adoption of a written\nreport concerning water standby fees and directing that the charges be collected via the tax roll in FY 2023-\n24. The proposed fee is $53 per vacant parcel, with additional charges for properties over one acre in size\ndependent upon the amount of street frontage. This fee has not been changed since FY 1991-92, and no fee\nchanges are proposed for FY 2023-24.\nEnvironmental Determination: Under Section 15378 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\nGuidelines, this is not a project, and, therefore, no environmental review is required.
