1.11 RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO FINAL TOUCH\nCONSTRUCTION & DESIGN, INC. FOR THE CIVIC CENTER ROOF REPLACEMENT\nPROJECT\nCity Council will consider a formal resolution awarding a construction contract to Final Touch Construction\n& Design, Inc. (Fontana, CA) for the Civic Center Roof Replacement Project. This project will include the\nfull removal and replacement of the Civic Center roof, which is estimated to be in excess of twenty-years old\nand is showing signs of failure throughout the building. The replacement roof has an anticipated lifespan of\nthirty years or more. Work will commence in early July 2023 and will be completed prior to the next winter\nseason.\nEnvironmental Determination: This project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act (CEQA) pursuant to section 15301.a Existing Facilities as repair and maintenance of an existing\npublic facility with no expansion of use.
