1.19 RESOLUTION INCORPORATING THE DEPARTMENT OF WATER AND POWER APPROVED\nBUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 INTO THE CITY BUDGET\nCity Council will consider a formal resolution authorizing the incorporation of the Department of Water\nand Power (DWP) approved budget for Fiscal Year 2023-24 into the City of Big Bear Lake’s budget. The\nDWP budget is presented to the City Council on an annual basis for review and input prior to being adopted\nby the DWP Board of Commissioners. As opposed to scheduling a Special City Council Meeting to review\nthe DWP Budget, City staff scheduled three (3) individual meetings on May 15 with the City Manager, the\nDWP General Manager, and no more than two (2) Councilmembers at a time to review the proposed DWP\nbudget and offer Councilmembers an opportunity to ask questions and provide input.\nEnvironmental Determination: Under Section 15378 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\nGuidelines, this is not a project, and, therefore, no environmental review is required.\nITEMS REMOVED FROM THE CONSENT CALENDAR
