1.16 RESOLUTION ADOPTING LOCAL GUIDELINES FOR IMPLEMENTING THE CALIFORNIA\nENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT FOR 2023, UNDER PUBLIC RESOURCES CODE\nSECTION 21000 ET. SEQ.\nCity Council will consider a formal resolution adopting the 2023 Local Guidelines for implementing the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). These Local Guidelines implement the state CEQA\nGuidelines and will assure that the projects and activities processed through the City conform to the current\nlegislation.\nEnvironmental Determination: Under Section 15378(b)(5) of the California Environmental Quality Act\n(CEQA) Guidelines, this is not a project, and therefore, no environmental review is required.
