1.12 RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO SANCON, ENGINEERING,\nINC. FOR THE SANITARY SEWER CURED IN PLACE PIPE PROJECT\nCity Council will consider a formal resolution awarding a construction contract to Sancon Engineering, Inc.\n(Huntington Beach, CA) for the Sanitary Sewer Cured in Place Pipe Project. This project will insert a cured\nin place pipe, also known as a liner, into existing sanitary sewer mains to inhibit and correct deficiencies\nsuch as root intrusion, pipe collapse, or erosion. This project will line approximately 9,000 linear feet of\nsanitary sewer pipeline.\nEnvironmental Determination: This project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act (CEQA) pursuant to section 15301.b Existing Facilities as repair and maintenance of an existing\npublic utility system.
