1.9 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A MEMORANDUM OF\nUNDERSTANDING WITH THE SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY DIVISION OF\nENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TO SUPPORT EDIBLE FOOD RECOVERY PROGRAMS AS\nPRESCRIBED BY SB 1383\nThe City Council will consider a formal resolution authorizing the execution of an MOU with the San\nBernardino County Division of Environmental Health to support the City’s Edible Food Recovery Program\nthat is being implemented pursuant to SB 1383. Under this agreement, the County will provide resources to\nthe City to perform the required coordination, inspection, and enforcement of required edible food generators\nto comply with the requirements of SB 1383. These resources will augment the City’s limited staffing in\nproviding these required activities and the activities will be funded through revenues derived from required\npermits and fees for services to be paid by the participating food generators.\nEnvironmental Determination: Under section 15378 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\nGuidelines, this is not a project, and, therefore, no environmental review is required.
