1.10 RESOLUTION AWARDING CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS AND PURCHASE ORDERS FOR\nTHE ANNUAL STREET REHABILITATION PROJECT\nCity Council will consider a formal resolution awarding construction contracts to S. Porter, Inc. and Bear\nValley Paving in support of the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Annual Street Rehabilitation Project. The project has\nbeen divided into two scopes of work, one for complete street reconstruction and one for street grinding and\npreparation for City staff to pave, will rehabilitate a collective 2.5 miles of City streets. Additionally, the City\nCouncil will consider approving a purchase order with Vulcan Materials to provide the necessary asphalt\nmaterial in support of the City’s paving efforts. The project is funded within the proposed Fiscal Year 2023-\n24 Capital Improvement Program Budget and work is anticipated to commence in early July 2023.\nEnvironmental Determination: This project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act (CEQA) pursuant to section 15301.c Existing Facilities as repair and maintenance of existing\nstreets and highways.
