1.14 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BID SOLICIATIONS FOR UPCOMING CAPITAL\nIMPROVEMENT PROJECTS AND FINDING THE PROJECTS EXEMPT FROM THE\nCALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT\nCity Council will consider a formal resolution authorizing bid solicitations for upcoming Capital\nImprovement Projects that are contemplated within the proposed Fiscal Year 2023-24 Capital Improvement\nProgram budget. This procedural approval will allow staff to proceed with the bidding process and obtain\nthe necessary construction bids to advance the projects during this construction season. Upon completion of\nthese bid solicitations, staff will present the construction contracts for consideration at a future City Council\nmeeting and, at that time, will provide comprehensive project budgets, anticipated project costs and timelines.\nThe projects contemplated within this action include: Drainage Master Plan, Village Drive and Stocker Road\nSidewalk Improvements, Sewer Cleaning and Inspection Project, and the Cottage Lane Sewer Line\nReplacement Project.\nEnvironmental Determination: Under Section 15301 Existing Facilities of the California Environmental\nQuality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, these projects are categorically exempt and, therefore, no environmental\nreview is required.
