RESOLUTION NO.      - Award of three (3)-year Contract to ML Winters Co., LLC:  Covering purchase and laundering of cleaning towels, rags and recycling of absorbent materials at Los Angeles International Airport and Van Nuys Airport, for cost not to exceed $275,000 \nPURPOSE: To establish a three (3)-year contract for purchase and laundering of cleaning towels, rags, and for recycling of absorbent materials at Los Angeles International Airport and Van Nuys Airport. The action will allow Los Angeles World Airports to obtain the materials and services necessary to provide cleaning and absorbent materials for various shops in the Facilities Management Division. \nRECOMMENDATIONS: Adoption of the Report requesting that the Board of Airport Commissioners determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2.f of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines; find that the work can be performed more economically or feasibly by an independent contractor than by City employees; approve Award of Contract to ML Winters Co., LLC; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to execute said Contract after approval as to form by the City Attorney.
