AWARD CONTRACT: PURCHASE OF ONE UTILITY SERVICE BODY TRUCK FOR\nTHE UTILITIES DEPARTMENT – F2M22-6A, N2M22-132, C2M23-4, M2M23-7\nOn November 14, 2022, the City Council approved the distribution of Notice Inviting Bids\nfor the purchase of one utility service truck for the Utilities Division. On December 8, 2022\nthe City Clerk received three bids for the purchase ranging from $81,500.00 to $95,041.88.\nThe bid received from Advanced Truck Body & Equipment Co. in the amount of\n$81,500.00 is the lowest responsible bid. Staff has reviewed the bid from Advanced Truck\nBody & Equipment Co. and found it is in full compliance and conformance with the bid\nspecifications.\nRecommended Action: City Council award a contract, subject to final language\napproval by the City Manager and City Attorney, to Advanced Truck Body & Equipment\nCo. for the purchase of a utility service body truck in an amount of $81,500.00; and, direct\nstaff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
