M. CONTRACT AWARD - LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE OF CITY PARKS WEST\nOF INTERSTATE 5 AND FINDING THE PROJECT CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT\nFROM THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA) UNDER\nCLASS 1 (EXISTING FACILITIES, 14 CCR 15301) OF THE CEQA GUIDELINES\nStaff Recommendation\nAdopt Resolution No. 23-55, which will:\n1. Determine that this project is categorically exempt from CEQA under Class 1\n(Existing Facilities, 14 CCR section 15301) of the State CEQA Guidelines.\n2. Approve, and authorize the City Manager to execute, Contract No. 23-34, a\nMaintenance Services Agreement, by and between the City of San Clemente\nand Priority Landscape Services, Inc., providing for landscape maintenance of\nCity properties west of Interstate 5, for a not to exceed annual contract price of\n$477,000. plus an annual contingency of $125,000, for a total not to exceed\nannual amount of $602,000 per year for a three year term with the option of two\none-year extensions to be exercised at the City Manager's discretion.
