J. CONTRACT AWARD - LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE AT THE WATER\nRECLAMATION PLANT AND NINE RESERVOIR LOCATIONS AND FINDING\nTHE PROJECT CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT FROM THE CALIFORNIA\nENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA) UNDER CLASS 1 (EXISTING\nFACILITIES, 14 CCR 15301) OF THE CEQA GUIDELINES\nStaff Recommendation\nAdopt Resolution No. 23-52, which will:\n1. Determine that this project is categorically exempt from CEQA under Class 1\n(Existing Facilities, 14 CCR section 15301) of the State CEQA Guidelines.\n2. Approve, and authorize the City Manager to execute, Contract No. 23-31, a\nMaintenance Services Agreement, by and between the City of San Clemente\nand Ed Stewart and Associates, Inc., providing for landscape maintenance\nservices, not to exceed annual contract price of $34,800, plus a $5,000 annual\ncontingency, for a total not to exceed annual amount of $39,800 per year for a\nthree year term with the option of two one-year extensions to be exercised at\nthe City Manager's discretion.
