17. APPROVAL OF ANNUAL 2023/2024 APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council take the following actions:\n1. Approve the annual 2023/2024 appropriations limit, which is calculated using the change in\nCounty population and the change in growth in California personal income, which are determined\nby the State of California, Department of Finance.\n2. Adopt Resolution No. _____-2023, establishing the appropriations limit for FY 2023/2024, by\ntitle only and waive the reading.
