A.27. ACCEPT SAFE STREETS AND ROADS FOR ALL (SS4A) GRANT FROM\nU.S. DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FEDERAL HIGHWAY\nADMINISTRATION (Report of: Public Works)\nRecommendations:\n1. Accept and approve the Safe Street for All (SS4A) Grant Agreement\nbetween the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the City\nof Moreno Valley (City) in the amount of $435,600 (Fund 2301) with\na city local match of $108,900 (Fund 2000); and\n2. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to execute the\nattached Grant Agreement under the Fiscal Year 2022 Safe Streets\nand Roads for All Grant Program (SS4A), subject to any minor\nchanges initiated by U.S. Department of Transportation and the\napproval of the City Attorney; and\n3. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to execute any\nsubsequent amendments to the Agreement, subject to the approval\nof the City Attorney;\nand\n4. Authorize a budget adjustment as set forth in the Fiscal Impact\nsection of this report.
