A.26. ACCEPT CALTRANS HIGHWAY SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM\n(HSIP) GRANT FOR FOUR PROJECTS (Report of: Public Works)\nRecommendations:\n1. Accept and approve the Program Supplement Agreements\nbetween California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and\nthe City of Moreno Valley (City) for the project of Traffic Signal\nUpgrades in the amount of $982,710 (Fund 2301) with a city local\nmatch of $109,190 (Fund 2000); and\n2. Accept and approve the Program Supplement Agreements\nbetween California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and\nthe City of Moreno Valley (City) for the project of Iris Avenue\nCorridor Safety Improvements in the amount of $449,370 (Fund\n2301) with a city local match of $49,930 (Fund 2000); and\n3. Accept and approve the Program Supplement Agreements\nbetween California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and\nthe City of Moreno Valley (City) for the project of Perris Boulevard\nSignalized Intersection Safety Improvements in the amount of\n$648,900 (Fund 2301) with a city local match of $72,100 (Fund\n2000); and\n4. Accept and approve the Program Supplement Agreements\nbetween California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and\nthe City of Moreno Valley (City) for the project of Overnight\nIntersection Visibility Systemic Safety Improvements in the amount\nof $1,294,830 (Fund 2301) with a city local match of $143,870\n(Fund 2000); and\n5. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to execute the\nProgram Supplement Agreements and any subsequent\namendments, subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and\n1. Authorize a budget adjustment as set forth in the Fiscal Impact\nsection of this report.
