A.20. APPROVAL OF FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH BIO-TOX\nLABORATORIES FOR TOXICOLOGY TESTING SERVICES (AGMT. NO.\n2019-307) (Report of: Police Department)\nRecommendations:\n1. Approve the First Amendment to Agreement for Toxicology Testing\nServices with Bio-Tox Laboratories, and\n2. Authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute future\nAgreements, subsequent extensions, and amendments, in accordance\nwith the City’s Procurement Administrative Procedure (AP #3.09) and\npursuant to MC 3.12.260, Materials, Supplies and Equipment—\nCooperative Purchasing, subject to the approval of the City Attorney,\nand provided sufficient funding is available within the City Council\npreviously approved Operating Budget; and\n3. Authorize an increase of $500,000 to the not-to-exceed amount of\n$400,000 of the Agreement with Bio-Tox Laboratories for a total of\n$900,000 over the life of the Agreement.
