APPROVAL OF A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR THE\nADMINISTRATION AND COST SHARING FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF\nTHE COORDINATED INTEGRATED MONITORING PROGRAM AND\nWATERSHED MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR THE UPPER LOS ANGELES RIVER\nWATERSHED MANAGEMENT AREA IN THE AMOUNT OF $13,688 FOR THE\nFISCAL YEAR 2023-24\nStaff recommends the approval of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOU)\nbetween the City of San Gabriel, along with 18 other governmental agencies\nand the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments for administration and cost\nsharing among the agencies related to the implementation of the Coordinated\nIntegrated Program and Watershed Management Plan for the Upper Los\nAngeles River Watershed Management Area. The proposed budget for Fiscal\nYear 2023-24 includes funding for the first year of this MOU. However, due to\nmonitoring and reporting requirements to meet compliance schedules, the\ncosts vary during the length of the three-year term. As such, funding for future\nfiscal years will be planned and budgeted accordingly.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute\nthe Memorandum of Agreement for the Administration and Cost Sharing for\nthe Implementation of the Coordinated Integrated Monitoring Program and\nWatershed Management Area and approve a purchase order in an amount not\nto exceed $13,688 from account number 138-800-03-22-000.
