12.s Memorandum(s) of Understanding with Covina Valley Unified and Charter Oak Unified\nSchool Districts Regarding School Resource Officers\nStaff Recommendation:\n1. Approve the MOUs to maintain school safety within Covina Valley Unified and Charter\nOak Unified School Districts patrolled by the Covina Police Department; and\n2. Approve Resolution CC 2023-62 adding one police officer position in the police\ndepartment to be assigned to Covina Valley Unified School District. A total of two officers\nwill be assigned to Covina Valley Unified.
