15. 23-0646 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all\nnecessary documents and any subsequent amendments, including any\namendments to the award amount, with the State of California Department\nof Public Health, to accept and expend funding in an amount not to exceed\n$30,550, for worker upskilling to improve retention of the existing public\nhealth workforce and help incumbent workers develop their skills to meet\nfuture public health demands, for the period of July 1, 2022 through June\n30, 2023, with the option to extend for an additional one-year period, at the\ndiscretion of the City Manager; and\nIncrease appropriations in the Health Fund Group in the Health and Human\nServices Department by $30,550, offset by grant revenue.
