18. ADOPT RESOLUTIONS AND ORDINANCES APPROVING THE GENERAL PLAN\nNO. GP-21-2, ZONE CHANGE NO. Z-21-1, VESTING TENTATIVE TRACT MAP NO.\nTT-21- 1, ADDENDUM TO A PREVIOUSLY CERTIFIED EIR NO. EIR-21-1, AND\nDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT NO. DA-21-1: A REQUEST TO ALLOW THE\nDEVELOPMENT OF A MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL AND FOR-SALE\nTOWNHOME PROJECT LOCATED AT 8150 LA PALMA AVENUE\n(THE VILLAGE AT BUENA PARK)\nPresented by Joe Hunt, Senior Management Analyst\nPurpose: Adopt resolutions and ordinances approving the development of a multi-family\nand townhome project consisting of 1,302 residential units, open space, parking\nstructures, on-site amenities and public improvements located at 8150 La Palma\nAvenue (The Village at Buena Park). There is no budget impact as a result of this\naction.\nRecommended Action: 1) Adopt Resolutions approving the proposed Vesting Tentative\nTract Map (TT-21-1), General Plan Amendment (GP-21-2) and Addendum to a\npreviously certified EIR (EIR- 21-1) for the development of a multi-family residential and\nfor-sale townhome project located at 8150 La Palma Avenue; and, 2) Adopt Ordinances\napproving a Zone Change (Z-21-1) and Development Agreement (DA-21-1) for the\nsame project.
