REORGANIZATION PLAN FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT\nOPERATIONS DIVISION AND RESOLUTION AMENDING THE BUENA PARK\nMANAGEMENT UNIT COMPENSATION PLAN ADDING THE PUBLIC WORKS\nMANAGER CLASSIFICATION\nPresented by Rebecca Valdez, Senior Human Resources Analyst\nPurpose: Adopt job classification specifications and amend the Buena Park\nManagement Unit to reorganize the Public Works Department Operations Division.\nFunds for these purposes have already been included in the Fiscal Year 2023-25\nadopted budget.\nRecommended Action: 1) Approve the new job classification specification of Public\nWorks Manager and amended job classification specification of Facilities and Parks\nSuperintendent and Fleet Maintenance Supervisor positions; and, 2) Adopt a\nResolution amending the Buena Park Management Unit Compensation Plan to add the\nPublic Works Manager classification and salary range.\nPUBLIC HEARING (18)
