9. AWARD CONTRACT: PURCHASE OF FURNITURE FOR THE ALHAMBRA DRIVING\nRANGE – F2M22-49, N2M22-141, C2M23-5, M2M23-10\nOn December 12, 2022, the City Council rescinded Contract No. C2M22-58 with Patio\nHeaven in the amount of $92,565 and authorized the circulation of a Notice Inviting Bids\nfor the purchase of furniture for the Alhambra Driving Range. On January 5, 2023, one\nsealed bid was received for the furniture purchase. The amount of the bid from Patio\nHeaven was $69,725.29. The bid received from Patio Heaven was lower than their\nprevious bid due to the reduced scope of the purchase.\nRecommended Action: City Council award a contract, subject to final language\napproval by the City Manager and City Attorney, to Patio Heaven in the amount of\n$69,725.29 for the purchase of furniture for the Alhambra Driving Range; and, direct staff\nto undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
