JANCA CONSTRUCTION, INC.\nSummary:\nT.J. Janca Construction, Inc. (T.J. Janca) completed work for the Discovery Well\nPark Play Area Resurfacing Project (Portion of Project No. 80.23006), “Project”,\nto the satisfaction of the Public Works Department and in accordance with the\nproject plans and specifications. The final construction cost of for this project\nwas $82,357. Staff is recommending final acceptance of the work performed by\nT.J. Janca and release of retention withheld.\nRecommendations:\n1. Adopt a resolution, entitled:\nA RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL,\nCALIFORNIA, DECLARING WORK TO BE COMPLETED IN\nCONFORMANCE WITH THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE\nDISCOVERY WELL PARK PLAY AREA RESURFACING PROJECT\n(PORTION OF PROJECT NO. 80.23006) IN THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL, IN\nACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACT ENTERED INTO BETWEEN T.J.\nJANCA CONSTRUCTION, INC. AND THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL\n2. Authorize the Finance Department to release retention withheld on the\nproject.
