RESOLUTIONS ADOPTING INVESTMENT POLICIES\nSummary:\nThe City's Investment Policy provides guidelines for the prudent investment of\nthe City's available resources and outlines policies for maximizing the efficiency\nof the City's cash management process. The ultimate goal of an Investment\nPolicy is to enhance the economic status of the City while protecting its pooled\ncash. In accordance with California Government Code Section 53646(a), an\nannual rendering of the City’s Investment Policy shall be presented to the City\nCouncil for consideration. Staff does not propose changes to the Investment\nPolicy at this time.
