LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT DEPUTY ROTATION\nFIVE-SIGNATURE LETTER - At the June 13, 2023, regular City Council meeting,\nMayor Jason Gibbs requested that the City Council consider sending a letter to Sheriff\nRobert Luna opposing the Los Angeles County Sheriff Civilian Oversight Commission\nrecommendation to require the regular rotation of patrol deputies.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council discuss and provide direction to staff regarding sending the attached letter to\nSheriff Robert Luna, opposing the Los Angeles County Sheriff Civilian Oversight\nCommission recommendation to require the regular rotation of patrol deputies.\nCONSENT CALENDAR\nAll matters listed under the Consent Calendar are considered routine and will be enacted by one\nmotion by the City Council.
