3.1 AWARD OF BID FOR PUBLIC WORKS PROJECT NO. 2023-7; WATERMAIN\nREPLACEMENT FY24 - Staff recommends City Council award contract in the amount of\n$3,799,175 to low bidder, All Cities Engineering, and authorize Mayor to sign the contract in form\napproved by City Attorney; authorize staff to approve a cumulative total of change orders, as\nnecessary, not to exceed $350,000; adopt plans, specifications, and working details for project; and\nappropriate $4,350,000 from Water Enterprise Fund and authorize staff to approve services for\ninspection, soil compaction and miscellaneous tests as necessary for the project.
