3.7 Approval of 9-1-1 Emergency Ambulance Transportation and Related\nServices in Fiscal Year 2023-2024.\nRECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Mayor and City Council:\nA. Approve the Agreement for 9-1-1 Emergency Ambulance Transportation\nand Related Services in Fiscal Year 2023-2024 with Emergency Ambulance\nServices (EAS) in an amount not to exceed $1,544,191 in FY2023-2024 and\nauthorize the City Manager to execute the Agreement including any non-\nsubstantive amendments as determined by the City Attorney; and\nB. Authorize the City Manager to execute the renewal of the Agreement for a\nsecond year for $1,601,001 in FY2024-2025, if the Ambulance RFP process\nhas not concluded by the end of FY2023-2024; and\nC. Authorize the City Manager to reject the renewal of the City’s current\nAgreement with FALCK/Care Ambulance; and\nD. Authorize City staff to initiate a formal Request for Proposal process for\n9-1-1 Emergency Ambulance Transportation and Related Services.
