L. Award Contract to DBX Inc. for the Landau Boulevard/McCallum Way\nIntersection Improvements\nRecommendation: To award a construction contract to DBX Inc., in the amount\nof $1,021,888.50 for the Landau Boulevard/McCallum Way\nIntersection Improvements Project (C08662) and approve a\nfifteen percent (15%) contingency in the amount of\n$153,283.28 for any unforeseeable construction costs;\nthereby, bringing the total construction budget for this\nProject to $1,175,171.78; and approve a budget adjustment\nto the FY 2023-2024 CIP Plan by allocating prior years\nSenate Bill 1 (RMRA/SB-1) funds in the amount of\n$485,000.00; and authorize the City Manager to execute the\nrequired contract documents; and authorize the City\nEngineer to request bonds and insurance for the Project and\nissue the Notice to Proceed.
