12. NOTICE INVITING BIDS: ASSESSMENT AND REHABILITATION OF THE SEWER\nMAIN AT SEWER LIFT STATION NO. 3 – F2M22-27, N2M23-12\nThe sewer main pipe that crosses under the Interstate 10 Freeway from Ramona Road to\nSewer Lift Station No. 3 is an original cast iron sewer pipe. The cast iron pipe is in poor\ncondition. This project will study if the sewer main pipe can be rehabilitated with a liner, or\nif the pipe should be completely replaced. On May 23, 2022, the City Council awarded a\ncontract to Pacific Advanced Civil Engineering, Inc. for engineering design services to\nprepare plans and specifications for the project. The plans and specifications have been\nprepared and reviewed, and they are consistent with the City’s standards.\nRecommended Action: City Council approve the distribution of a Notice Inviting Bids\nto qualified contractors for the Assessment and Rehabilitation of the Sewer Main at Sewer\n7\n1-23-23\nLift Station No. 3 with bids due no later than 10:30 a.m. on February 23, 2023 and opened\nat 11:00 a.m. that same day.
