13. RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND CONTRACT WITH\nRMS CONSTRUCTION FOR THE CHARLES A. LINDBERGH PARK, JOHN BEAT\nPARK, SAN MARINO PARK, AND SAN ANTONIO PARK ADA IMPROVEMENTS\nPROJECT\nPresented by Annie Singhal, Assistant Engineer\nPurpose: Approve plans and specifications and hire a contractor for the Charles A.\nLindbergh Park, John Beat Park, San Antonio Park and San Marino Park ADA\nImprovements Project. Associated construction costs in the amount of $1,181,006 will be\nfunded from the Park in-Lieu Fund (Account No. 32-9806-290157).\nRecommended Action: 1) Adopt a resolution approving plans and specifications for the\nCharles A. Lindbergh Park, John Beat Park, San Antonio Park, and San Marino Park\nADA Improvements Project; 2) Award a contract to Reliable Monitoring System dba\nRMS Construction in the amount of $1,046,971 for the Project; 3) Authorize contingency\nfunds in the amount of $100,000 in the same purchase order; 4) Authorize construction\nengineering in the amount of $30,000; 5) Authorize a purchase order for The Solis\nGroup in the amount of $4,035 for administration of the Community Workforce\nAdministration (CWA); 6) Authorize the City Manager and City Attorney to make any\nnecessary, non-monetary changes to the contract; and, 7) Authorize the City Manager\nand the City Clerk to execute the contract.
