6. AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF LA HABRA FOR POLICE DISPATCH SERVICES\nPurpose: Authorize the Police Department to execute an agreement with the City of La\nHabra Police Department to provide dispatch services on an “as-needed” basis.\nAssociated costs will not exceed $30,000. The City of La Habra will reimburse $39.48\nper hour of service to the City of Buena Park for per diem dispatchers, and $81.70 per\nhour for full-time dispatchers. Full-time dispatcher reimbursement will be Lead\nDispatcher rate at time and one-half.\nRecommended Action: 1) Approve an agreement with the City of La Habra to provide\npolice dispatch services at The La Habra Police Department effective July 11, 2023,\nthrough January 1, 2024; 2) Authorize the City Manager and City Attorney to make any\nnecessary, non-monetary changes to the agreement; and, 3) Authorize the City\nManager, the Police Chief, and the City Clerk to execute the agreement.
