11. RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF GOOD FAITH BARGAINING FOR AN AGREEMENT\nOF SERVICES FOR SOLID WASTE, RECYCLING AND ORGANICS COLLECTION\nBETWEEN REPUBLIC SERVICES AND EMPLOYEES – F2M23-7, R2M23-6\nOn January 9, 2023 Councilmember Perez, along with her City Council colleagues,\nrequested a resolution in support of good faith bargaining between the City’s trash hauler,\nRepublic Services, and its employees. The City is currently in an exclusive agreement with\nRepublic Services for trash, recycling and organics collection and would like to avoid any\ndisruption in sanitation services that may impact the Alhambra community negatively and\nsupport positive labor negotiations.\nRecommended Action: City Council adopt Resolution No. R2M23-6 entitled: A\nResolution of the City Council of the City of Alhambra in support of good faith bargaining\nfor an agreement of services for solid waste, recycling and organics collection between\nConsolidated Services Inc., dba Republic Services and employees
