12. FINAL TRACT MAPS, ACCEPTANCE OF OFFERS OF DEDICATION, AND\nREJECTION OF IRREVOCABLE OFFERS OF DEDICATION FOR TRACT\nMAPS NO. 51644-16 AND 51644-17 (TESORO HIGHLANDS) - Pursuant to Section\n66474.1 of the Subdivision Map Act, approve final tract maps, accept and reject offers of\ndedication, and abandon easements for Tract No. 51644-16 and Tract No. 51644-17.\nThese maps are for subdivision purposes and are located within Tesoro del Valle, north\nof Tesoro del Valle Road.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council:\n1. Approve Final Tract Maps for Tract No. 51644-16 and Tract No. 51644-17.\n2. Accept on behalf of the public the offers of dedication and grant of: (1) the easement\nfor public use and road purposes; (2) the easements for sanitary sewer and sanitary\nsewer ingress and egress purposes; (3) all sanitary sewers and appurtenant structures;\n(4) the easements for covered storm drain, storm drain appurtenant structures, ingress\nand egress purposes; (5) the right to restrict or prohibit the erection or construction of\nany buildings or structures within lots 101, 102, and 104 through 125, inclusive, on\nTract No. 51644-16; (6) the right to restrict or prohibit the erection or construction of\nany buildings or structures within lots 132 through 151, inclusive, on Tract No.\n51644-17; and (7) the right to restrict or prohibit any and all allowable uses or\nconstruction within those areas designated as open space on these maps.\n3. Reject the irrevocable offers of dedication and grant in fee simple of all lots 90, 91,\nand 92 of Tract No. 51644-16 and all lots 123 and 124 of Tract No. 51644-17 for\nflood control purposes.\n4. Authorize the City Manager or designee to rescind the rejection and accept the offer\nof dedication and grant in fee simple all of lots 90, 91, and 92 of Tract No. 51644-16\nand lots 123 and 124 of Tract No. 51644-17 when construction of the improvements\nare completed to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works.\n5. Make findings as follows: This project is consistent with the provisions of Sections\n66474 and 66474.1 of the Subdivision Map Act and should be approved.\n6. Instruct the Director of Administrative Services to endorse the Special Assessment\nStatement on the face of the Final Tract Map for Tract No. 51644-16 and Final Tract\nMap for Tract No. 51644-17, which indicates all special assessments levied by the\nCity of Santa Clarita are paid.\n7. Instruct the City Clerk to endorse the City Clerk’s Statement on the face of the Final\nTract Map for Tract No. 51644-16 and Final Tract Map for Tract No. 51644-17,\nwhich embodies the approval of said maps, the acceptance of the dedications shown\nthereon, and the rejection of the irrevocable offer of dedication and grant in fee\nsimple shown thereon.\n8. Instruct the City Surveyor to endorse the City Surveyor’s Statement on the face of the\nFinal Tract Map for Tract No. 51644-16 and Final Tract Map for Tract No. 51644-17,\nwhich provides for verification that the map is technically correct.\n9. Instruct the City Engineer to endorse the City Engineer’s Statement on the face of\nFinal Tract Map for Tract No. 51644-16 and Final Tract Map for Tract No. 51644-17\nwhich provides for verification of substantial conformance with the Tentative Tract\nMap and all provisions of local ordinances and state laws applicable at the time of\napproval.\nThis time has been set aside for any speakers that have turned in speaker cards and were not\nheard in the first thirty minutes allotted to address the City Council on items that are NOT on the\nagenda.
