Award the Contract to Doug Martin Contracting Company, Inc. for Citywide Slurry Seal Fiscal\nYear (FY) 2022-2023, Plan No. 1373 in an amount Not To Exceed $185,185.78 (Strategic Plan\nItem 46-IMCLF)\nCITY RECOMMENDATION: 1. Adopt a Categorical Exemption from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act Pursuant to Section 15301(c) of the California Code of Regulations;\n2. Award the Contract to Doug Martin Contracting Company, Inc. for Citywide Slurry Seal FY\n2022-2023, Plan No. 1373 in the amount of $168,350.71, with a 10% contingency in the amount\nof $16,835.07, for a total amount of $185,185.78; 3. Authorize the City Manager or his designee\nto execute the agreement including minimal and/or non-substantive changes; and 4. Authorize\nthe Public Works Director to execute any necessary change orders in an amount not to exceed\n10% of the original contract amount.
