Award the contract for Mauna Loa Avenue, East of Glendora Avenue Water and Street\nImprovements, Plan No. 1346 & 1347, to Stephen Doreck Equipment Rentals, Inc. in the\namount of $2,649,395 (Strategic Plan Item 46-IMCIF)\nCITY RECOMMENDATION: 1. Adopt a Categorical Exemption from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act pursuant to Section 15301(c) of the California Code of Regulations;\n2. Approve the Plans and Specifications for Mauna Loa Avenue, East Of Glendora Avenue Water\nAnd Street Improvements, Plan No. 1346 & 1347 in District 3; 3. Award the contract for Mauna\nLoa Avenue, East of Glendora Avenue Water and Street Improvements, Plan No. 1346 & 1347,\nto Stephen Doreck Equipment Rentals, Inc. in the amount of $2,649,395; 4. Authorize the City\nManager or his designee to execute the agreement with Stephen Doreck Equipment Rentals,\nInc., including minimal and/or non-substantive changes; 5. Authorize the Administrative\nServices Director to appropriate $1,355,000 by moving programmed funding from FY 2023/24\nto FY 2022/23 within Water CIP Fund 530 and Measure M Fund 255; 6. Authorize the Public\nWorks Director to execute any necessary change orders in an amount not to exceed 10% of the\noriginal contract amount; and 7.
