3.1 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH TRIPEPI\nSMITH FOR VACATION RENTAL OUTREACH SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING A FISCAL\nYEAR 2023-24 BUDGET APPROPRIATION FOR SUCH SERVICES\nCity Council will consider a formal resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a professional\nservices agreement with Tripepi Smith in an amount not to exceed $24,000 for public engagement services\nin an effort to seek input from community members and property owners regarding the City’s Vacation\nRental Ordinance. The proposed resolution will also seek authorization to appropriate $24,000 from the\nGeneral Fund unassigned fund balance for these services.\nEnvironmental Determination: Under Section 15378 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\nGuidelines, this is not a project, and, therefore, no environmental review is required.
