1.7 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH\nBUCKNAM INFRASTRUCTURE GROUP FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A TRAFFIC SIGN\nINVENTORY\nCity Council will consider a formal resolution authorizing a professional services agreement with Bucknam\nInfrastructure Group for the development of a citywide traffic sign inventory. The City’s Public Works\nDepartment is responsible for the maintenance and replacement of approximately 4,500 traffic signs\nthroughout the City but the City lacks a functional inventory of these assets. Staff contacted Bucknam\nInfrastructure Group, who is one of the City’s on-call consultants with an expertise in data gathering and\ninventory management. If awarded, Bucknam Infrastructure Group will conduct a digital imaging process of\nall City streets and develop a functional inventory of all traffic signs, in the form of a database and GIS map.\nEnvironmental Determination: Under section 15378 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\nGuidelines, this is not a project, and, therefore, no environmental review is required.
