1.12 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE ORDERS FOR SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT FOR\nPUBLIC WORKS IN SUPPORT OF GENERAL MAINTENANCE AND SNOW REMOVAL\nCity Council will consider a formal resolution authorizing four (4) purchase orders for specialized equipment\nto support the efforts of Public Works staff related to general maintenance and snow removal activities.\nPublic Works maintains considerable vehicles and equipment to support their efforts, year-round, with a\nsignificant impact associated with snow removal activities. The proposed purchase orders include the\npurchase of a replacement loader, a new multipurpose machine for snow clearing and street sweeping, and\nchains and cutting edges.\nEnvironmental Determination: Under Section 15378 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\nGuidelines, this is not a project, and, therefore, no environmental review is required.
