1.8 RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO ROMANS CONSTRUCTION\nFOR THE STANFIELD CUTOFF PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT\nCity Council will consider a formal resolution awarding a construction contract to Romans Construction for\nthe Stanfield Cutoff Parking Lot. In August 2022, the transaction closed finalizing the transfer of the Stanfield\nBoardwalks and Parking Lot from the Municipal Water District to the City of Big Bear Lake and, in the time\nsince, the City has completed several improvement projects that enhance the area. Within the adopted Capital\nImprovement Program (CIP) budget for Fiscal Year 2023-24 is funding to reconstruct the parking lot at this\nsite.\nEnvironmental Determination: This project qualifies for an exemption pursuant to Section 15301 of the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
