8. Award of Construction Contract to Kalban, Inc. in the Amount of $691,754.50 for “ADA\nCurb Ramps and Path of Travel - Citywide (CDBG) [Phase III] (FY 21-22),” Project No.\n428-2590-XXXXX-67934\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1) Award a construction contract to Kalban, Inc. for “ADA Curb Ramps and Path of\nTravel - Citywide (CDBG) [Phase III] (FY 21-22),” Project No.\n428-2590-XXXXX-67934, to include all Base Bids and Add Alternates 1, 2, & 3, in the\namount of $691,754.50;\n2) Find that the project referenced above is categorically exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15301(c) and that the\nproposed project will not have a significant effect on the environment; and\n3) Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the construction\ncontract/agreement and related documents (permits, etc.).\nAttachments: Staff Report\nAttachment No. 1 - Project Location Maps
