Item No. 18. 2023-0509 CONSIDER AWARDING CONTRACTS TO MARIPOSA\nLANDSCAPES INC. AND SWAYZER CORPORATION\nFOR LANDSCAPE MEDIAN MANAGEMENT AND\nCONSIDER APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 23-124\nAMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 BUDGET\nIN THE AMOUNT OF $71,298\nRecommendation: TAKE the following actions:\n1. AWARD a three-year contract for landscape median\nmanagement of Area A in an amount not to exceed $865,296.00,\nto Mariposa Landscapes Inc with an option to extend for two\nadditional one-year terms at the City's discretion; and\n2. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute the contract, following\napproval as to form by the City Attorney; and\n3. AWARD a three-year contract for landscape median\nmanagement of Area B in an amount not to exceed $716,760.00,\nto Swayzer Corporation with an option to extend for two additional\none-year terms at the City's discretion; and\n4. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute the contract, following\napproval as to form by the City Attorney.\n5. ADOPT Resolution No. 23-124, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY\nOF CARSON CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR\n2023-24 BUDGET IN THE GENERAL FUND AND SPECIAL\nREVENUE FUNDS"\nAttachments: Exhibit 1.
