14.1 Consideration and Approval of Recommendation to Authorize the Appropriation\nFunding from the California Natural Resources Agency Prop 64 Youth Community\nAccess Grant Program Funding for the Jr. Recreation Leader Volunteer Program Teen\nNature and Cultural Adventures for the Contract Year 2023-2024 in the Amount of\n$44,991.\nRECOMMENDATION OF BUSINESS ITEM UNDER CONSIDERATION:\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Authorize the City of El Monte Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department\nto accept funding from the California Natural Resources Agency Prop 64 Youth\nCommunity Access Grant Program funding for the Jr. Recreation Leader Volunteer\nProgram Teen Nature and Cultural Adventures for the contract year 2023-2024 in the\namount of $44,991;\n2. Authorize the City Manager to designate the Assistant City Manager/Director of Parks,\nRecreation and Community Services to sign all necessary documents to execute Grant\ndocumentation; and\n3.
