RESOLUTION TO ADOPT AN AMENDED BUENA PARK JOB CLASSIFICATION\nPLAN AND POLICE ASSOCIATION COMPENSATION PLAN TO REVISE THE\nPARKING ENFORCEMENT SPECIALIST JOB CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY\nRANGE, AND CHANGE THE CLASSIFICATION TITLE TO TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT\nSPECIALIST\nPresented by Eddie Fenton, Assistant City Manager/Director of Human Resources\nPurpose: Adopt a Resolution to amend the Buena Park Police Association\nCompensation Plan and Classification Plan to provide for a revised salary range and\nessential functions for the Parking Enforcement Specialist position. Associated costs of\napproximately $15,000 will be allocated from the undesignated General Fund balance\nfor this purpose.\nRecommended Action: 1) Approve the revised Traffic Enforcement Specialist job\nclassification specification; 2) Adopt a Resolution to amend the Buena Park Police\nAssociation Compensation Plan; and, 3) Authorize a budget amendment in the amount\nof $15,000 for this purpose.
